- Planning Responsibilities:
- Responsible for category development and category strategy: price & promotion to expand both sales & profit with aims to penetrate market share.
- Profit & Loss responsibility for category and sub-category, including GMV, profit margin, other suppliers-income, wastage and inventory turnover.
- Build and sustain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders (Sales, Sourcing, Planning,…) according to business needs; drive collaboration to achieve business growth
- Employ data-driven decision making to drive the category growth. Provide insight to the other commercials team and work closely with supply chain and operation to ensure consistent supply
- Use insights to influence assortment planning and monthly conduct category reviews, aims to be the widest assortment, best value price for each area in collaboration with Supply Plan, Sourcing Plan.

1. Key Skills
- Bachelor degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management or related subjects
- Minimum 5 years experience as Category Management or Trade Marketing within the FMCG sector or Retail/Trading/Wholesales sector with prior experience in supervising a small team.
- Experience in Fresh Food category management is a big plus
2. Domain Expertise
- Expertise & exceptional ability in understanding our customers – Retailers, especially at Morden Trade (MT); General Trade (GT) channel and FMCG Suppliers/Manufacturers
- Successfully builds and executes category management for both hyper-growth and scaled companies - FMCG company experience is preferred
